eduGuardian FZE LLC ("eduGuardian", "we", "us", "our") is an education consultancy providing advisory and support services for international university admissions. Our services include academic counselling, application processing, visa assistance, and related student support services.
This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing eligibility for refunds of fees paid for consultancy and related services across our ecosystem, including eG Visa, eG Accommodation, eG Transportation, and eG Library.
By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.
Scope of Policy
This policy applies to all consultancy and advisory services offered by eduGuardian, including:
- University selection and academic counselling
- Application preparation and submission support
- Document verification and processing
- Visa advisory and assistance services
- Pre-departure and onboarding support
- Communication and coordination with partner institutions
- Service packages and bundled consultancy offerings
General Refund Principles
eduGuardian operates on a professional service-based fee model. Refund eligibility is determined based on:
- Stage of service delivery
- Extent of work completed
- Third-party costs incurred
- Administrative and operational resources utilised
Where services have been partially or fully delivered, any eligible refund will be adjusted proportionately.
Cooling-Off Period
3-Day Initial Cancellation Right
Clients may request cancellation within 3 calendar days of payment, subject to the following conditions:
- No substantive consultancy work has commenced
- No university applications have been submitted
- No third-party processing has been initiated
Where eligible, clients may receive up to 70% refund — a 30% administrative fee will be deducted. If any service work has commenced, refund eligibility will be recalculated based on services already rendered.
Refund Eligibility by Stage
Prior to Application Submission
50% – 70%Deductions may include:
- Initial consultation and counselling sessions
- Profile assessment and evaluation
- Administrative processing costs
After Application Submission
30% – 50%Deductions may include:
- Application preparation and submission work
- University communication and coordination
- Documentation processing
After Offer Letter Issuance
Generally not applicableExceptions only for verified service failure attributable to eduGuardian, or duplicate/erroneous payments.
After Visa Process Initiation
No refundNo refund once visa documentation preparation has commenced or submission to relevant authorities has been initiated. All government and third-party fees are strictly non-refundable.
After Service Completion
No refundNo refunds shall be issued once all agreed consultancy services have been fully delivered.
Non-Refundable Fees
The following payments are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances:
- Registration or onboarding fees
- Completed consultancy service fees
- University application charges
- Visa processing and embassy-related fees
- Document verification and courier charges
- Third-party service provider fees
- Payment gateway or banking charges
- Express or priority service fees
Visa Assistance Services
- Government and embassy fees are non-refundable once submitted
- Consultancy fees are non-refundable once documentation processing begins
- Visa refusal does not automatically entitle the client to a refund
- Any refunds, if applicable, are limited strictly to unutilised consultancy services
Cancellation of Services
- Refund eligibility is subject to work already completed
- eduGuardian reserves the right to deduct reasonable costs for services rendered
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing
Refund Request Procedure

- Reason for refund request
- Supporting documentation (if applicable)
Refund Review Process
- All refund requests are subject to internal assessment
- Service completion and usage will be verified
- eduGuardian reserves the right to approve or reject requests in accordance with this policy
- Final decisions will be communicated in writing
Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 60 calendar days, subject to:
- Banking and financial institution processing timelines
- International transfer procedures (if applicable)
- Payment gateway processing schedules
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method wherever possible.
No Guarantee Clause
eduGuardian does not guarantee:
- University admission outcomes
- Visa approvals
- Scholarship awards
- Employment or immigration outcomes
Refunds shall not be issued based on dissatisfaction with outcomes where agreed services have been duly delivered.
Dispute Resolution
- Clients are encouraged to contact eduGuardian for internal resolution
- The matter will be reviewed and clarified internally
- Unresolved disputes may be escalated under the jurisdiction of UAE courts
- Unauthorised chargebacks without prior communication may be treated as a breach of agreement
Limitation of Liability
eduGuardian shall not be held liable for:
- Decisions made by universities, embassies, or immigration authorities
- Policy changes by external institutions or governments
- Delays caused by third-party organisations
- Errors or omissions in client-provided information
Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Sharjah, UAE.
Policy Updates
eduGuardian reserves the right to update or amend this Refund Policy at any time to ensure compliance with:
- UAE regulatory requirements
- International education consultancy standards
- Partner university expectations
- Operational and procedural improvements
